HARLEY BONNER - ‘I'VE GONE TO THE DARK SIDE!'

The Neighbours favourite, 30, is swapping Ramsay Street for Summer Bay... and a new role as a hot doctor!

We last saw you as Joshua Willis on Neighbours in 2016 – how did you feel about joining the competition on Home And Away?

I thought it was pretty cool that I got to jump ship and come over to the dark side [laughs].

Filming at the beach must be nicer...

Than Nunawading [the Melbourne suburb where the Neighbours set is located]? Um, yeah!

And you’ve made the move from Melbourne to Sydney for Home And Away?

I was in Sydney for about a year before I got the job. I was living overseas prior to that doing the whole LA thing, auditioning. We had a few close calls, which was good and I had another year on my visa and then COVID hit so we had to bounce early, but I came back to something really good so I’m stoked.

You play trauma surgeon Dr Logan Bennett – did you do much research for the role?
