In almost two decades of marriage, Julia Roberts and Danny Moder have been the subject of countless rumours about their relationship, from speculation they were living apart to constant divorce talk.

Not so long ago, there were even reports that the 53-year-old actress’ demanding workload had pushed her marriage to “crisis point”, with one source claiming, “Danny told her he’d had enough... she learned the hard way that putting career above family could break them.”

But lately, the couple have been acting like a pair of newlyweds, looking particularly smitten with each other during a holiday in romantic Positano in Italy. And an insider tells Woman’s Day that their renewed spark is all down to Julia and Danny, 52, laying their marital issues out on the table and making it their mission to get things back on track.

“Like any other couple, Julia and Danny have gone through hard times,” says the source. “Raising three teenagers, and juggling two busy careers, have presented their challenges. A few months ago they had a heart-to-heart where they both agreed they’d dropped the ball with their relationship, and they vowed to both make an effort from now on.”
