Most teenagers earn pocket money by babysitting or working at a fast food outlet... but not Ali Kitinas.

At just 16, the Sydneysider became Australia's youngest CEO when she launched ethical body scrub Freedom Scrub.

Using ethically sourced coffee grinds, Ali teamed up with The Hope Foundation to dedicate a portion of her proceeds to the underprivileged in India.

For every body scrub purchased, five children living on the streets of Kolkata are provided with health care and medical services.

I'm very passionate about social enterprises and having a social impact through business,” Ali explained at the time.

“There are so many businesses which are just for profit. I want to show you can give back - even in business.

Mentored by English business magnate Richard Branson, Ali – who is also an actress and model – reportedly made $3 million while balancing her schoolwork!

I get up at 6am every day and check emails, as I have some international relationships I need to look after,” she said.

From there, I get ready for school. I've gotten really good at getting all of my classwork done and making a start on my homework during class time, so that at recess and lunch I can work on my business.
