A little over a year ago, Samantha Armytage waved goodbye to her Bondi home and her highly coveted breakfast TV gig in Sydney and moved to the Southern Highlands with her new husband, Richard Lavender.
And while she’s since endlessly praised her new quiet existence in Bowral, Sam, 44, has sparked whispers all may not be as idyllic as it seems, after she quietly bought a $1.5 million apartment in the heart of Sydney last week.
Talking to Woman’s Day, an insider close to her camp says the former Sunrise host was getting “itchy feet” in the countryside and was missing the cosmopolitan life she once had.
