Ange’s nasty tactics backfire.
As Brad Pitt emerged from his lawyer’s office in Los Angeles on August 27, the triumphant grin on his face said it all – he was almost certain he’d win the fight for joint custody of his six children during an increasingly ugly legal spat with his estranged wife Angelina Jolie.
“Brad looked like the weight of the world was off his shoulders,” an eyewitness reports, speaking exclusively to Woman’s Day. “It was definitely a positive meeting. All he’s ever wanted is to get those kids back and now, after more than two years of mud-slinging from Ange, it looks like it might finally happen.”
Brad’s sunny new outlook came on the same day that Angelina dramatically split from high-powered lawyer to the stars Laura Wasser, after months of rumours that even LA’s most notorious “divorce pit bull” could no longer stand her client’s nasty tactics.
Those tactics allegedly included Angelina accusing Brad of failing to provide “meaningful child support” since their separation in September 2016. The Fury actor fired back that he’d paid $2 million and had also loaned Angelina $12 million so she could buy a $37 million mansion in LA.
Ultimately, it appears Angelina’s mouthing-off has achieved the opposite of what she was aiming for.
