There’s drama behind the scenes for the Morning Show co-stars

While the world cringed at Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston’s awkward interview with a British TV presenter last week, what went largely unnoticed was the missing spark and banter between the two leading ladies.

With multiple reports that the one-time friends are not as close as they used to be, sources confirm things are getting tense on the set of their TV series The Morning Show.

“The very fact they weren’t in the same room but were in the same city for that interview speaks volumes,” says an insider.

“Jen clearly wasn’t impressed with how she was made to look in the interview and Reese only made it worse by confirming the presenter was right about Jen not being a morning person.

“Jen was annoyed about that but not surprised. Things haven’t been great between them since the start of the new season.”

A source told Star magazine in July that during filming “there was some friction” between Jen, 52, and Reese, 45, adding, “They used to hang out when the cameras weren’t rolling, but not now. Between takes there was some eye-rolling going on.”
