With two Oscar nominations, as well as starring roles in box-office blockbusters The Help, Interstellar and The Martian, Jessica Chastain was already Hollywood royalty. Now, the ravishing redhead is also real-life nobility after marrying into one of Italy’s most aristocratic families.

It’s believed the 40-year-old actress has adopted the title of countess after marrying her partner of five years, fashion executive Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo, 34, at his family estate in Treviso, north of Venice.

Jessica wore a stunning, custom-made, strapless Alexander McQueen gown with an embroidered bodice and a floor-sweeping, beaded skirt, as she tied the knot at the 17th-century villa that has been in her husband’s family since the 1800s.
