Yes, our dogs, when they are puppies, are just like babies. Like babies, they never sleep through the night, keeping us awake. Like babies they aren’t potty trained either. While one is in diapers and oblivious to such goings-on, the other just messes around happily, without any care! And when they need attention or are uncomfortable about something, they yelp and whine, just like babies who simply cry out loud! They say, having a pet at home is like having a baby which never grows up. So true.
Bringing up a pup may be similar to raising a baby, except it is more difficult, especially during the first three months. Luckily for me my Tasha was happy to be arm-carried, cuddled and kissed, unlike my late Inshy, who just didn’t like being treated like a baby.
