Conceptualised to scale the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure globally, 82 Volt Technologies (82Volt) is an EV tech company offering end-to-end full-stack charging solutions. Claimed to be smart, these charging solutions are said to score high on sustainability. With its positioning as India's first fully integrated EV technology company, 82Volt has a diverse clientele. From working with grid companies to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), the business model of the company allows it to gather heaps of data deployed back to improve the existing infrastructure. This is in line with its goal to scale up the charging infrastructure. "We believe that data holds the key to setting up a robust charging infrastructure and want to help scale the industry with data as the backbone," stated Akshay Sasikumar, Chief Executive Officer, 82Volt.

At the back end of the charging ecosystem, the company has a dedicated team that deals with the data pool. This involves and is not limited to leveraging data to ensure optimal charging and enhancing battery life. Working with grids helps them in managing load distribution to in turn avoid grid failure. The company provides end-to-end solutions to enterprises who in turn both deploy the solution and use the data for their internal business needs.
