Let's deal with some numbers first. A big one to begin: £87,650. That's a huge sum of money for an Audi TT, even one that is the last of its kind in a sports coupé market that seems to have got a case of the dreaded shrinks.
So let's temper that with a lower number: 100. That's how many of these TT Iconic Editions will be built, with just 11 coming to the UK.
There's an even smaller number as well: 0. That's how many remain on sale in the UK. Say what you will about Audi, but it knows its market intimately well. Nigh-on £90k for a TT seems like ridiculous money, but the Germans have sold every single one before anyone has even had a drive in them.
And unlike in the Audi R8 GT we drove last month, the TT RS Iconic Edition doesn't get any special engineering treatment. There's no coilover suspension here or trick rear differential, just an otherwise regular TT RS with a bit of added aerodynamic fairy dust.
