PRADEEP GAUR, CHAIRMAN AND MANAGING DIRECTOR, RVNL

Pradeep Gaur assumed the responsibility of Chairman and Managing Director, Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) on 01 September 2018. Previously, as Executive Director, Projects (South), Gaur spearheded prestigious projects such as the Rishikesh-Karnaprayag new line in Uttarakhand, the ObulavaripalliKrishnapatnam new line in Andhra Pradesh, doubling of the MaduraiManiyachi-Tuticorin and Maniyachi-Nagarcoil lines in Tamil Nadu and the Hospet-TinaighatVasco da Gama section in Karnataka and Goa.

Gaur worked with Indian Railways from 1989 to 2005 before moving to RVNL. At RVNL, first as Chief Project Manager and later as Executive Director, he has been responsible for commissioning of more than 800 km of new line/doubling/gauge conversion.
