The government may invite expressions of interest (Eol) for the sale of Air India's engineering subsidiary, Air India Engineering Services (AIESL) by January-February 2023.

According to earlier reports, the government was planning to start working on selling Air India's ground-handling and engineering arms as it aims to complete the transaction this fiscal. However, plans to sell the ground handling subsidiary could also take longer.
