WOMAN WITH A GOLDEN VOICE - REBECCA SAIMAWII

Rebecca Saimawii is a singer from Mizoram with a soft heart and empathetic personality that wishes good for others. She is a goal oriented, ambitious and determined person with substantive knowledge and an accomplished contribution towards music, fitness and humanitarian efforts.

Rebecca Saimawii is the first Mizo woman to be certified by the Gold's Gym, an American chain of international co-ed fitness centres, in Bengaluru. She is one of the most popular artists of Mizoram who focuses on Fitness and preaches it. At an age of 51, with a fitness regime that could make her look two decades younger, she is winning the hearts of everyone.

She started her musical career back in the 1980s. She has over 60 songs to her credit and is currently holding the 'B High Grade' artist title in All India Radio. She was also the judge of a popular talent hunt competition called Mizo Idol from 2007 to 2013. It is her dream to maintain a healthy physique and become a sports nutritionist and a fitness trainer. She is heading forward with all her might for achieving her dream. She started training as an instructor to impart her passion to people who are willing to put in the efforts. You can see people finding it hard to believe that she is a mother of four children. Finally, she was certified as the Advanced Personal Trainer by Gold's Gym in 2018.
