When she decided on a career in the theater, Belgium-born Audrey took elocution lessons to develop the soft Continental accent fans know from her films. For her breakout role in 1953's Roman Holiday, Paramount teamed her with fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy, who made Audrey his style muse. "Givenchy's clothes are the only ones I feel myself in," Audrey gushed. "He is more than a designer. He is a creator of personality."
