Some people make news even when they sneeze. That's mostly true of our film stars, who live under heavy-duty public scrutiny 24/7. From daily gym sightings, airport outings to paparazzi photos outside tony eateries, we never tire of hearing about them every day of the week. However, some news pieces do tend to stick out and need to be chronicled. Who can forget Shah Rukh Khan's iconic cameo in Brahmastra, which led to fans demanding a stand-alone film for his character Mohan Bhargav, or how Aamir Khan's labour of love, Laal Singh Chaddha, wasn't well received by the audience. Aryan Khan made news by turning writer, while Deepika Padukone made history by becoming the first Indian to unveil a FIFA trophy. Here's looking at some of the major celebs who made news for the right and wrong reasons...
SHAH RUKH KHAN
After a hiatus of five years, Shah Rukh Khan took the internet by storm when he announced three big releases for 2023. It's worth noting that he collaborates with a number of exceptional filmmakers across all three films. Pathaan has an ensemble cast with Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and him in the lead. It's being helmed by Siddharth Anand. He is all set to unite with Rajkumar Hirani for the first time in Dunki, where he will be seen alongside Taapsee Pannu. The third big announcement was about his film Jawan, which is being directed by Atlee. How can one forget the much-awaited cameo of Shah Rukh Khan in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra? It was a treat for fans to finally catch a glimpse of him in this fantasy thriller. Such was his craze that fans demanded a separate movie to be made on his character Mohan Bhargav.
