Sources reveal first-born William, 40, can't understand why Charles continues to take such a lily-livered approach to Harry and his American wife, Meghan, who have repeatedly trashed the royal family in public, instead of standing up to the brats.
"He doesn't agree with the monarch's strategy of ignoring the Sussexes and letting them hang themselves," spills an insider.
"If anything, it's just given Harry and Meghan more confidence to run riot with the full knowledge there are no consequences because the royals seem too scared or timid to retaliate." But fuming William "wants to fight fire with fire" and is pushing "his father to send a very clear message that there will be no apology, no concessions, no compromises or red-carpet rollouts in 2023 for the Sussexes, barring a total backdown and radical change of attitude on their part, which he knows is almost impossible," says the insider.
