PARANOID politicians are pushing for a constitutional amendment to establish designated survivors to immediately replace lawmakers in case of a mass casualty attack to avoid a dangerous power vacuum on Capitol Hill — and experts say their fears are warranted!
According to sources, the group believes a deadly assault is inevitable amid a spike in threats against Congress.
The bipartisan call comes as the House of Representatives also seeks to change how the Secret Service deploys agents following two failed murder bids against former President Donald Trump.
“The assassination of a member of Congress is not a question of if, it’s a question of when,” says New York Rep. Ritchie Torres.
