The second week of this year’s Cannes Film Festival kept fashion fans ’attention on the French Riviera, as A-listers including Cate Blanchett, Richard Gere, Salma Hayek and Demi Moore all made an appearance during the final days of the prestigious event.
Ghost star Demi stood out from the crowd by bringing her beloved chihuahua Pilaf to the multiple photocalls for her forthcoming horror movie The Substance.
CLASSIC STYLE
The actress, 61, wore a strapless black Del Core midi dress to pose for photos with co-star Margaret Qualley, before changing into an elegant Audrey Hepburn-esque polka-dot dress from Elie Saab.
Speaking about her latest film, which received a 13-minute standing ovation, Demi said: “I look for things that push me out of my comfort zone; the opportunity to make a better person and actor. Through the process of the film, I think I came out with greater acceptance of myself.”
Another stylish star was Sienna Miller, who attended the premiere of Horizon: An American Saga – a western in which she stars alongside Kevin Costner – with Marlowe, her 11-year-old daughter with her former partner, actor Tom Sturridge.
Sienna, wearing a boho-inspired floor-length ruffled dress by Chloé, and Marlowe, making her red-carpet debut, were photographed in a heart-warming mother-daughter embrace. They were joined by Sienna’s partner Oli Green, with whom the actress, 42, welcomed a baby daughter late last year.
