With her arms outstretched and a huge smile on her face, Millie Bobby Brown was the picture of marital bliss alongside her new husband Jake Bongiovi as they drove through the Hamptons in New York state's Long Island after tying the knot.

The couple secretly married in May, exchanging vows in a small private ceremony attended by family and close friends. They are said to be planning a larger, more elaborate celebration in the US later this year.

Confirming the reports last week, Jake's rock star father Jon Bon Jovi said: "They're great; they are absolutely fantastic.

"It was a very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be."

The fact that British actress Millie, 20, and 22-year-old model Jake have chosen to keep the finer details of their nuptials under wraps is, perhaps, no surprise.

Last summer, the Stranger Things star said she wanted to keep their wedding away from the glare of the spotlight because: "There are only so many moments in life that you get only once, and to have everyone's s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me.
