HELLO! JOINS THE STARS IN L.A.AN UNFORGETTABLE EVENING GALA HOLLYWOOD A-LIST TEAM UP TO FIGHT BREAST CANCER

With some of biggest stars in show-business turning out in force, the An Unforgettable Evening gala in Los Angeles truly lived up to its name - and HELLO! was there.

Husband-and-wife teams Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson and Sting and Trudie Styler were among the famous faces raising money for breast cancer research and seeing Demi Moore be honoured with the Courage Award.

"I am deeply moved and touched," Demi, 61, told guests at the Beverly Wilshire hotel, after tributes from Rita and her Women's Cancer Research Fund co-chair, businesswoman Jamie Alexander Tisch.

"Am I courageous? Sometimes, depending on the day, week, or decade. Courage can be as dramatic as risking your life, or it can be about telling someone how you are feeling about that in an authentic way, when you'd rather do anything else. But most importantly, courage cannot exist in a vacuum."

"This award is truly for the sisterhood of incredible women who show me what courage looks like," she added.

"My family, my friends, my courageous daughters, even my brand new granddaughter teaches me about courage every day as she hangs out in this real world, where I'm sure she could be much happier to be cosy in the womb."
