As the Spice Girls, they vowed that “friendship never ends”– and Melanie Brown has proved they still stand by that as she prepares for one of the biggest days of her life.
Speaking on a US chat show, the singer announced that former bandmate turned designer Victoria Beckham has created the wedding dress she’ll wear when she ties the knot with hairstylist Rory McPhee this year.
“Victoria actually designed my dress and my mum’s dress. It’s such a beautiful honour to get,” she said on morning show Today with Hoda & Jenna.
Melanie, 48, also confirmed she would wear several dresses – and that the ceremony will take place at St Paul’s Cathedral in
London, a special privilege granted to her as a holder of an MBE, which she received in the 2021 New Year’s Honours list for services to charity and vulnerable women.
