Known as the “city of love”, Paris lived up to its name as models from the worlds of Hollywood, fashion and music opened the French capital’s fashion week, dressed in romantic rouge and holding scarlet roses.
Paris Fashion Week kicked off with L’Oréal Paris’s womenswear spring/ summer 2025 show, as A-listers brought elegance and glamour to the Palais Garnier opera house.
L’Oréal holds its Le Défilé show annually, with models wearing clothes by top designers and supporting the makeup giant’s theme – which this year was Walk Your Worth, celebrating “women’s empowerment, inclusion and sisterhood”.
On Instagram, the brand wrote: “Confidence, power, and sisterhood took center stage at Le Défilé! The #LOréalParisfamily shared the power of diversity and inner beauty. Because you’re worth it!”
CLASSIC STYLE
Jane Fonda shimmered in a long silver trench coat with co-ordinating leggings and trainers, while fellow actress Andie MacDowell looked equally chic in a strapless metallic dress.
Models Cindy Bruna and a pregnant Luma Grothe – who posted a video of her appearance on Instagram, captioned: “Baby’s first catwalk” – starred alongside Kendall Jenner, who had a new blonde hair colour and wore a custom corsetted gown over a sheer catsuit, designed by Mugler’s creative director Casey Cadwallader.
Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Bastón smiled alongside model Cara Delevingne, who wore bright red high-waisted knickers and a matching coat, complete with train. Eva, meanwhile, looked stylish in a white ruched dress with a thigh-high split, accessorised with a sparkling necklace.
“Another Le Défilé for the books. Thank you @lorealparis for always celebrating every woman’s worth,” the US actress and producer wrote on Instagram.
