MOVING ON
This Morning host Holly, elegant in a fitted strapless lavender gown by Suzanne Neville, attended the ceremony without her former copresenter Phillip Schofield for the first time in 14 years, and spoke about her hopes for the future of the ITV show. "People want us to do well. It all feels good again," she said of the recently revamped morning programme.
Her co-host Alison Hammond also put in a dazzling turn, in a black sequinned dress with matching cape. Although This Morning missed out on the Daytime Programme gong for the first time in 13 years, Alison enjoyed her night, later writing on social media: "What a night of happiness... we had the best time. Thanks so much for all your love support and votes and allowing us to be there."
Another star who appreciated the support was Strictly Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. When the hit BBC1 programme won the Talent Show prize, Amy - pretty in pink, with a breast cancer awareness badge pinned to her tulle gown - joined her fellow Strictly stars on stage, prompting former contestant Fleur East to say in her speech: "It's extra special because we are joined by the fabulous Amy Dowden on stage, who looks absolutely incredible."
GIVING A BOOST
A proud Amy later posted on Instagram: "We WON! Congrats to the whole team! Love you all! Special thanks for making me feel like a Princess and giving me the biggest smile."
