Gov't probes mystery deaths as bodies pile up in warehouses!

DISTURBING deaths of people employed at Amazon's warehouses have federal officials putting the online giant's workplace conditions under the microscope!

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is investigating three worker fatalities, which occurred in July and August at facilities operated by the company in New Jersey.

In one incident, a worker whose name was not released fell from a ladder during his shift, hit his head, then died three days later! In another tragedy, a man identified by co-workers as Rafael Reynaldo Mota Frias, 42, suffered a fatal heart attack in a Carteret warehouse after outdoor temperatures soared to 92 degrees!

Sources at the fulfillment center where hard-working Rafael labored say he'd complained to management about chest pains and begged for fans to offer relief from sweltering conditions.

In a complaint later submitted to OSHA, one staffer charges, "They just told employees to work through it. They would be fine. Two hours later he was dead."

Another employee claims he saw a colleague pass out at the same warehouse a week before Rafael's death and fumes there is no reason why the "trillion-dollar company" should not have fully airconditioned facilities!

Amazon, which employs 1.1 million people in the U.S., acknowledges OSHA is looking into Rafael's death - but chalked up the incident to a "personal medical condition."
