Stars keep sparring in public as divorce looms

ENDANGERED lovebirds Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are fighting in public again — leaving friends fearful the A-listers are spiraling toward a devastating divorce less than a year into their stormy marriage.

Simmering tensions between the troubled pair triggered a bruising bust-up on the red carpet at the L.A. premiere of J.Lo’s new movie, The Mother, on May 10 — and sources snitch the showdown looks like a deal breaker! 

The 50-year-old Batman beefcake was openly mouthing off at his 53-year-old diva bride, who could clearly be seen firing back at him as the movie crowd was shocked into near silence. Insiders say J.Lo was raging at the 6-foot-4 movie hero for being a sourpuss who was out of step with the mood at the event — a repeat of his sullen antics at the February Grammys, which also triggered a scolding. 

“This was supposed to be a night where they showed the world how happy they really are, but instead Ben totally blew it and J.Lo’s furious!” dishes a source.

“He promised he’d make an effort to turn on the smiles, but the look on his face and his grumpy body language told the world the opposite.

“It seems obvious these two are miserable no matter how much they try to fake it for the cameras. Word is, they’re both seriously worried they’re  headed toward full-blown divorce unless there’s some type of miracle.”
