BREAKTHROUGH HELPS AMPUTEES FEEL GOOD!

FOR nearly four decades, a 57-year-old man named Fabrizio Fidati, who has worn a prosthesis on his amputated lower arm, has never been able to feel the warmth of a friend’s hug or even a handshake. Nor could he feel if his coffee was hot, or his ice cream cold. But a revolutionary new device called the MiniTouch promises to be a game-changer for him and millions of others who’ve lost a limb.

The amazing device allows people with artificial limbs to feel the touch of another human, as well as to tell if something is hot or cold. With the MiniTouch, Fabrizio was able to distinguish between objects that contained cold, cool and hot water with 100 percent accuracy.
