The 38-year-old Son of a Sinner singer — born Jason DeFord — met Bunnie, 43, in 2015 when he was living in a van and his drug-addled ex-girlfriend had custody of his daughter Bailee, who was born in 2008 while Jelly was doing time for a coke bust.
But Bunnie was rolling in dough from her work as a high-end escort and began to fix his life. She ponied up the cash for Jelly to hire a lawyer to seek custody of Bailee, then bought them a place to live.
