Scientists at the University of Texas Health Science Center say their experimental medication CPACC prevented weight gain in rodents fed a high-sugar, high-fat diet and also warded off the negative physiological consequences associated with overindulging in unhealthy foods!

“When we give this drug to mice for a short time, they start losing weight,” says Dr. Madesh Muniswamy, who led the research.
