Coleen 'devastated' at Wayne drama

Coleen and Wayne Rooney's start to 2025 has been marred by fresh cheating allegations and the former footballer's sacking

If Wayne and Coleen Rooney have proved anything over their 17-year marriage, it's that they can survive a storm.

And they've found themselves back in the eye of yet another huge one after a video was published alongside plenty of speculation about what it showed - just days before the bells rang in a new year.

The clip which appeared to show a woman inside Wayne's Devon apartment- also came out just days before the former Manchester United ace was axed from his manager job at Plymouth Argyle after a disastrous seven months in charge.

Amid the dramas in his professional life, 39-year-old Wayne appeared to show exactly where his priorities lie when he took to social media to release a strongly worded statement, categorically denying any wrongdoing.

Now a source tells us that while Coleen, 38, has no interest in the speculation, it wasn't the start to 2025 she was hoping for, especially after ending last year on such a high as runner-up on I'm A Celebrity.

"This isn't the way she wanted to go into 2025," the source claimed. "She had such a good time on I'm A Celebrity and showed people who she really is, and there are going to be so many opportunities coming her way because of the person people saw.

"It doesn't really matter to Coleen what other people think about things like this, but it's a real shame for them all. She's devastated that he's been forced to deny something - and then he lost his job, too. She feels bad for him.
