Just back from their baby’s first holiday in Greece, Love Island power couple Olivia and Alex Bowen are loving family life.
From the exciting announcement that Olivia was expecting to the joyous news that she had given birth to a baby boy called Abel in June, we have followed their emotional journey into parenthood.
Catching up with new this week following their sunny trip to Mykonos, Olivia, 28, reveals how Abel has been able to help her battle with anxiety.
“Abel has just brought so much joy into our life,” she says. “Yes, he’s made it slightly more difficult in some ways, but it’s worth every moment.”
Olivia also tells us why her husband Alex, 31, is thriving in his new role as a dad. “He never really met his own dad and I think he’s always wanted to prove that he will be 10 million times the dad he never had, and he’s definitely done that.”
Here, Olivia offers motherly words of wisdom to fellow Love Islander and mum-to-be Molly-Mae Hague and reveals why she doesn’t feel under pressure “to bounce back” from her baby body…
Hi Olivia. How is your little one doing at the mo? Has he hit any milestones recently?
Abel is absolutely amazing. I know this sounds really funny because it’s not like he’s competing at the Olympics, but he can roll over now! He seems to be such a fast learner, so I’m terrified for when he starts walking. I’m going to need eyes in the back of my head! But he’s always laughing.
