The ups and downs of Britney Spears’ life have been well documented in the media for decades, and now she is finally having her own say in an explosive new memoir.
Her tell-all book, titled The Woman In Me, has dropped several bombshells, including claims she had an abortion while dating her ex Justin Timberlake and that he allegedly cheated on her with an unnamed celebrity.
And as their relationship – which ended in 2002 after three years together – hits headlines again, a source has claimed Justin has been left feeling “completely blindsided” by Britney’s revelations. “He knew she would be obliged to reveal something about their time together, but he just didn’t think she would go there,” said our source. “His first thought was, ‘How do you react to that?’
“In one sense, Britney has every right to discuss what she has been through. But, at the same time, these are deeply personal matters that Justin would have preferred to keep private.
“Justin knows he’ll be walking into a minefield by addressing the book and doesn’t want to get cancelled. He is nervous at what the public reaction to this will be and what Britney might say next.”
