Strictly Come Dancing professionals Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington are head over heels in love – and it’s a good job, because they’re currently in each other’s pockets 24/7.
The couple, who found love while appearing on the dance competition in 2021, have been busy wowing fans across the country with their tour, Once Upon A Time, and have been inseparable both on and off the dance floor.
“We’re together every minute of the day, which we love,” beams Kai, 27, who says he was “instantly attracted” to the Ukrainian dancer. “It makes it a lot easier for us.”
But Nadiya, 33, who shares daughter Mila, six, with her former fiancé, footballer Matija Škarabot, says she and Kai are prioritising their careers before they think about marriage and more children.
“We’re very happy where we are at the moment,” says Nadiya, who joined Strictly in 2017. “I love being with Kai, and being a mother – he’s amazing with Mila and I can’t wait for our future.”
Here, Kai and Nadiya spill the beans on their romance and break their silence on Rylan Clark leaving Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.
Hi, Kai and Nadiya! You work together and you’re dating as well – what’s the secret to making it work?
Kai: Always being there for each other, no matter what, even when it gets hard. We all go through hard times and struggles – that’s what relationships are about.
Who is the most romantic out of the two of you?
