When Amy Hart first rose to fame on Love Island in 2019, she never could have imagined where life would take her. But fast forward just four years and the 31-year-old is now mum to one-year-old son Stanley and is planning her dream wedding to fiancé Sam Rason.
“I’m very lucky,” Amy tells us when we catch up about her latest project, as part of the judging panel for the P&O Cruises Memorable Moment Award. “Life is great right now,” she adds.
Amy met 33-year-old tech entrepreneur Sam in 2021 and in August 2022, she announced on an episode of Loose Women that the pair were expecting their first child together. Then, in September last year, Sam got down on one knee and asked the former cabin crew member to marry him.
She confirmed the news on social media, sharing an adorable picture of Sam holding a beautiful ring, against a backdrop which read, “Will you marry me?”
“And he said… hey, whatcha doin’ the rest of your life?” Amy wrote in the caption, describing the proposal as “well and truly the biggest surprise ever”.
Here, the TV star opens up about preparing for her wedding – which will take place later this year and include a four-day “extravaganza” in Spain – as well as her hopes of expanding their family, and why she wants to use her platform for good…
Hi, Amy. How are wedding plans going?
