As speculation around the explosive content of their Netflix docuseries reached fever pitch at last week’s premiere, Victoria and David Beckham put on a united front, looking every inch the strong couple.
Flanked by their adoring children, Victoria and David Beckham looked more in love than ever as they prepared for the world to witness never-seen-before details about their marriage.
Given what the series reveals about what really went on during the media frenzy surrounding David’s alleged affair with his former personal assistant Rebecca Loos, the blue-carpet family photos demonstrate even further how far they’ve come.
“We’ve been together now for 26 years,” David, 48, said before the star-studded screening at London’s Curzon Mayfair. “We’ve got amazing kids, we’ve built businesses, but we make time for each other. So, you know, you have to work hard at these things.”
While the first two episodes of the show followed the couple from their first meeting and first kiss, through to Brooklyn’s birth and their 1999 wedding, which was exclusively covered by OK!, it’s the final two episodes that have got the world talking.
Focusing on David’s departure from the UK following his £25million four-year signing from Manchester United to Real Madrid in summer 2003, the couple opened up about the “absolute circus” that became their life together as they were rocked by allegations of cheating – which they have always denied.
Addressing the affair claims in the bombshell series for the first time publicly – although the word “affair” was never uttered by either of them – Victoria, 49, showed a vulnerable side to her we’ve rarely, if ever, seen.
