Flame-haired Lindsay Lohan became a star with the iconic 1998 romcom The Parent Trap, in which she played identical twins Annie James and Hallie Parker when she was 12. Since then, you could say the former Disney star has lived a lot of lives. Once famously a party girl, the noughties icon and former it-girl was grabbing headlines for stints in rehab and drink driving arrests.
But Lindsay’s life seemed to take a positive turn when she swapped LA for Dubai in 2014, landing some new Netflix films and marrying her long-term boyfriend, high-flying Dubai banker Bader Shammas. Her transformation was complete when she gave birth to the couple’s first son, Luai, last July.
Now a mother with a career on the comeback, the Mean Girls star opens up to OK! about her new Netflix romcom Irish Wish (another Netflix project after the 2022 holiday movie Falling For Christmas) and how her own wish on set to become a mother came true. The 37-year-old actress also talks about how thrilled she was to film in Ireland, how she bonded with her co-star over parenting tips and her “special relationship” with her Freaky Friday co-star Jamie Lee Curtis…
Hi Lindsay. What can you tell us about your new movie Irish Wish?
