April’s arrival calls for a spring clean, and there’s no better place to start than your wardrobe. A clear space means a clear mind, and a messy, cluttered closet filled with clothes you no longer wear, and where you can’t find the things you want, can add to feelings of anxiety and stress.
That’s why we’ve enlisted the help of the professionals. The Style Sisters, aka Gemma Lilly and Charlotte Reddington, have years of experience when it comes to sorting people’s stuff out, and as a result they’ve gained a strong celebrity following.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, they’ve given us their top tips on how to get your space shipshape for spring. Here’s how you can work some Style Sisters magic in your own home…
DETOX YOUR SPACE
For a thorough seasonal wardrobe switch-over, follow these steps:
STEP 1
Detox – get everything out of your wardrobe. This might seem OTT but it’s worth it in the end.
STEP 2
Create piles (keep, donate, sell etc).
STEP 3
Clean the inside of your wardrobe.
STEP 4
Introduce items back into the wardrobe, grouping them by garment or colour.
