It's My Best Friend's Wedding meets The Holiday! Debbie (Witherspoon) and Peter (Kutcher) are best friends. Sure, they hooked up on the first night they ever met - but that was 20 years ago. These days, they're living opposite lifestyles on opposite coasts: Debbie is devoted to her son (and her riskaverse routines) in Los Angeles, while Peter desires a life of constant change in New York City. But when they swap cities for a week, they both learn that what they think they want may not be what they really need. As Peter babysits Debbie's son in L.A., he begins to realize that he does have feelings for her. Meanwhile, Debbie's hooking up with Theo (Jesse Williams) in NYC. Is it too late for Peter? Directed by Aline Brosh McKenna (the screenwriter behind The Devil Wears Prada and 27 Dresses), this refreshing romantic comedy highlights the cracking chemistry between genre veterans Witherspoon and Kutcher. It's her best rom-com since 2002's Sweet Home Alabama and his best since 2011's No Strings Attached.
