IT wasn’t hard to read between the lines when a representative for Shannen Doherty announced on April 21 that the Charmed actress is splitting from her husband of 11 years, photographer Kurt Iswarienko.
“Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted,” the rep said in an official statement. “Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option. You can contact Kurt’s agent, Collier Grimm at PICTUREKID, as she is intimately involved.”
The statement got tongues wagging, with many concluding that Kurt had cheated on the 52-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 alum — who’s battling stage IV cancer — with his agent. “We don’t know the exact details yet, but we do know that Kurt broke Shannen’s heart,” a source tells Star. In court papers that reveal the former couple had separated in January, Shannen asks for spousal support and requests that the court deny spousal support for Kurt, 48, should he ask for it. “Shannen is angry and wants ‘love rat’ Kurt to pay,” says the source. “She’s refusing to give him a dime. This was the ultimate betrayal — he shattered her world.”
