Brad Pitt was all smiles as he continued to promote his new action flick, Bullet Train, at a press conference in Seoul, South Korea, on Aug.19. Decked out in a slouchy, double-denim suit and trendy Adidas x Gucci sneakers, the animated actor pretended to bite into a cake decorated with ladybugs (his Bullet Train character's name) and at one point joked to delighted reporters, "I'm not here for the movie, I'm here for the food."
Some were surprised to see Pitt in such good spirits. Days earlier, a 2016 FBI report became public, detailing the explosive fight that took place between Pitt and ex-Angelina Jolie aboard a private jet that September. (Jolie, under the alias "Jane Doe," had requested the documents be shared amid the pair's ongoing custody battle over their minor children, Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 16, and 14-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - they also share Maddox, 21, and Pax, 18.)
According to a Pitt source, the 58-year-old star isn't overly fazed by the release of the documents. "Angelina has plotted a six-year campaign against Brad," the source tells Us, noting that the FBI report is the 47-year-old's latest attempt to make her ex's life hell. "The truth is, Angelina, is angry that the public adores Brad so much." It's no secret Pitt's on an upswing - Bullet Train has raked in $150 million at the box office so far, and as Us previously reported, the noticeably happier actor is finally getting himself back in the dating game.. Adds the source, "Whenever there is a lot of public adoration toward Brad, Angelina hits back with some dirty trick to try to disgrace him."
