A NEW BOOK SHARES THE SECRETS OF THE WORLD'S MOST FAMOUS COUPLE
DAVID & VICTORIA SAVING BRAND BECKHAM

AImost 25 years after they tied the knot, David and Victoria Beckham are still a united front, raising their four children and creating a combined fortune around $800 million. No easy feat for any couple, but in this case, even the bride admits that everyone "said it wouldn't last".

In his new book, The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power, Tom Bower alleges it nearly didn't. The British investigative journalist reveals that their problems go far beyond the rumours of infidelity, which seem to have plagued the pair since they said "I do" on July 4, 1999.

The author claims the pair lived separate lives during a particularly low point. But despite the turmoil behind the scenes, Posh and Becks continued to turn it on for the camera, maintaining a cordial "distant business relationship".

This crisis point lasted from 2016 to 2018 when it is claimed by Bower that their separate publicists leaked negative stories about each other. It’s claimed that David even accused his wife and her publicist of “waging a media war” against him.

“Although the Beckhams could not hide their separate lives, they stuck together to support the Brand,” Bower writes. “[David’s] status and survival would have been washed away without Victoria’s determination to maintain the illusion of a happy family.”
