FERRARI

Carlos Sainz, 29

‘My future is something I’m not thinking about’

Undoubtedly a large proportion of Drive to Survive viewers tune into see Sainz behind the wheel of a Ferrari. But his time with the team is soon up as he’ll be replaced by Lewis Hamilton. Fans are keenly awaiting an update, but it’s not the only thing on their minds. On the P1 with Matt and Tommy podcast, Sainz was asked how he keeps his hair “so damn perfect” under a helmet. “I normally shower a lot. I’m very hygenic in that sense,” he smiled. “I only shampoo it once … If I do it too much it gets too fluffy,” he went on, adding, “Never conditioner.”

Charles Leclerc, 26

‘The best is yet to come’

Leclerc joined F1 in 2018, and by 2019, he was snapped up by Ferrari for a stint alongside four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel. Since then, the star – born and raised in Monaco – has gone from strength to strength, and according to his bio, it’s because of his “breathtaking talent”, “sharp intelligence” and a “pronounced taste for hard work”. Again, Ferrari has chosen a genetically-blessed European to man the wheel, and just like his teammate Sainz, he has a gorgeous girlfriend on his arm, TikTok star Alexandra Saint Mleux.

ALPINE
