The bombshells have been coming through thick and fast since even before Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir was officially released on January 10. And as the Duke of Sussex continues his publicity tour to promote his book Spare, the revelations continue to shock. “[William’s] frustrations were growing and growing and growing. He was shouting at me. I was shouting back at him. It wasn’t nice. It wasn’t pleasant at all,” Harry explained to journalist Anderson Cooper during a recent US 60 Minutes interview regarding a previous altercation between him and his brother. “And he snapped. And he pushed me to the floor.”
Along with his strained relationship with the Prince of Wales, Harry’s book details his earlier drug use, losing his virginity and being unable to comprehend his mother’s death for years. His recent interviews have also seen Harry lift the lid on his family’s “betrayal” – with the duke revealing “certain members” had chosen to “get into bed with the devil” to tarnish his and wife Meghan Markle’s reputation.
“[In] the last six years, the level of planting and leaking from other members of the family means that in my mind they have written countless books, certainly millions of words have been dedicated to trying to trash my wife and myself to the point of where I had to leave my country,” the 38-year-old told journalist Tom Bradby during another interview.
