Far removed from his days selling out stadiums with former boy band One Direction, Zayn Malik, 31, has found peace on his Pennsylvania farm. "It was just coincidental I ended up there and I just fell in love with it," Malik revealed on podcast Zach Sang Show recently.
This "coincidence" was the birth of Khai, the 3-year-old daughter he shares with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid, 29, whose family also has a farm in Pennsylvania. Speaking on Fearne Cotton's Happy Place podcast, Malik said they made the "big move" after finding New York "too intrusive" for Khai.
"[In Pennsylvania] she gets to run round in the fields and we get to go camping and BBQ outside without people watching us straight out the front door. We have three dogs, four cats and 10 chickens. We collect the eggs every day with Khai - she loves it," he said.
