As emotional notes written by Princess Di are unearthed,King Charles faces a new crisis

For more than 25 years, they have been locked away. During the last two tumultuous years of her life, the late Princess Diana poured her heart out to her close friends Susie and Tarek Kassem in a series of “highly personal letters and cards,” according to British auction house Lay’s, which was scheduled to auction off the letters on Feb. 16. In them, Diana wrote about her struggles with the royal family in the midst of her contentious divorce from Prince Charles — which continued to torment her in the months before her tragic 1997 death. Lay’s said acquiring the “astonishing, confidential collection” of notes (32 pieces in all) would be like “owning the treasured relic of a saint.”
