Nearly three months after announcing her cancer diagnosis, Kate Middleton broke her silence. "Being your Colonel remains a great honour, and I am very sorry that I'm unable to take the salute at this year's Colonel's Review," she wrote in a letter to the Irish Guards, who held an annual dress rehearsal on the Mall in London a week before the monarch's ceremonial birthday celebration on June 15. "I do hope that I am able to represent you all once again very soon."
But the bigger news was her rumored reasons for missing the big event. According to internet sleuths, the Princess of Wales was spotted nearly 5,000 miles away in Houston that weekend. "There are multiple witnesses who claim to have seen her in Texas," says a source. "It's believed she's flying back and forth for secret cancer treatment there."
