Colourful Holi
Champak|March First 2023
Jay lived in a town named Sitapur. He was eagerly awaiting the Holi celebration at his school. Each student was assigned to make one Holi colour out of natural ingredients.

Jay was having a lot of fun. His friend, Raman and his father used to make Holi colours using dried flowers and vegetables.

Jay went to Raman's house and learned how to make natural colours using turmeric, beetroot, palash, spinach, carrots and coriander.

Jay's Uncle, Sanjay, had come to visit Jay from Mumbai and was extremely happy to see him make natural colours for Holi.

He wanted to take Jay out one day but thought he would be busy with Holi preparations. Jay wanted to spend time with Uncle Sanjay and insisted on going out.

"But you still have to practice some songs for the celebration in school and you have to make more colours," Uncle Sanjay said, reminding Jay of his responsibilities.

"Uncle, don't worry about that. I will complete everything on time. I still have a week left. I would like to go out with you and spend some time. You barely come for a few days to visit us," said Jay.

"Okay. Great. Let's go."

Jay and Uncle Sanjay went to a botanical garden in Lucknow, and the magnificent market of Kesarganj and Hazratganj.

Uncle Sanjay bought Jay sunglasses and a car. Jay was very happy.

When he returned, Raman asked, "You had gone to visit Lucknow, how was it?"

Jay proudly said, "It was fun! My uncle bought me a very expensive car and look at these sunglasses. They are so cool. But you won't understand how expensive this is. You don't have anything to compare."
