Phrozen’s Sonic Mighty 8K is a large, easy-to-use desktop resin 3D printer with the ability to reproduce very fine details. Its roomy 218x123mm build plate can accommodate an army of gaming miniatures or a good-sized model without the need to slice and dice it.
It’s not exactly cheap but that 8K (33 million pixels) monochrome LCD screen provides an incredible 28 microns of detail. The Sonic Mighty 8K also has an easy-release build plate, built-in Wi-Fi and a camera. Its touchscreen is large and easy to navigate – and the processor is smart enough to let you change exposure settings after you’ve sliced a model. There’s even everything you need to get started – except resin.
