SHIV NADAR UNIVERSITY DELHI-NCR: THE FOUR PILLARS OF STUDENT SUCCESS

In 2022, the university was recognized as the youngest Institution of Eminence by the Government of India. One of the few private institutions in the country to receive this recognition, it has set the university on a path to world-class excellence.

The university is home to four Schools: the School of Engineering, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Natural Sciences, and the School of Management and Entrepreneurship.

Shiv Nadar University graduates’ success rests on four pillars: the multidisciplinary curriculum, the emphasis on research and experiential learning, extensive support for career development, and a world-class campus that fosters physical and emotional well-being and academic learning.

Dr. Ananya Mukherjee, Vice-Chancellor

Trailblazing Curriculum

Shiv Nadar University was the first to launch a 4-year multidisciplinary research degree in India. The degree is a trailblazer on many counts. The multidisciplinary nature of the degree allows Shiv Nadar graduates to gain both breadth and depth in their undergraduate education.

Take the story of Meghna Joshi, currently working as Research Director with Gartner, the leading US technology research and consulting firm. Meghna received a B.Tech in Computer Science from Shiv Nadar University in 2011 and then did a Master's in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics.

Nitya Mathur has a similar story. Along with her BA (Research) degree in International Relations, she completed a minor in Design. She is now pursuing her postgraduate degree in service design at the Royal College in London.
