
TACKLE YOUR SKIN WOES
Dark circles, breakouts, and dull skin – your skin needs some TLC stat! Dr Kiran Sethi, founder of Isyaderm clinic, New Delhi, recommends double cleansing, first with a micellar water and then an oil-based cleanser. Follow up with an alpha hydroxy acid or a vitamin C scrub. She cautions against rubbing too hard as the skin is already dehydrated from all the partying. “You have to focus on hydration,” she reiterates. Start with a hydrating mist – either a copper firming mist, or even rose water. On damp skin, apply a polyglutamic acid – which is more powerful than hyaluronic acid. Follow that up with a vitamin C cream as you need some sort of antioxidant.” To add more antioxidant benefits, which help brighten and give a boost to the skin, Dr Kiran recommends using Resveratrol or a coenzyme Q10, and then following it up with snail mucin serum and SPF.
