None of these truly come close to the euphoric, almost cathartic sagas they weave, as I shared with Tom McFarland over Zoom. He’s one half of the outfit that also comprises Josh Lloyd-Watson – they played at Lollapalooza India, in Mumbai, towards the end of last month, with a full ensemble band. The common consensus for fans and listeners alike is that Jungle sounds like freedom.
